Director Support Professional(ADC Aide)

Responsibilities

An employee in this class is responsible for specific supervised instruction of adults. Work may also include direct interactions with parents, record keeping in regard to the adult day care service, and direct responsibility for the adults.

Requirements

(The following statement represents the minimum experience and training standards which will be used to admit or reject applicants.)

Possession of a High School diploma (or its equivalent) and 1 year of full time experience in group work with older adults/ or those with special needs in such settings as Adult day care, Nursing Home, Volunteer groups, etc. Possession of current CPR and First Aid certificate (or ability to take and pass the required tests within 60 days of employment). Must obtain Class E license with 60 days of employment. Non smoking, drug free environment.

Individuals who are in the process of completing a GED program may be granted special approval if currently enrolled in a program with completion expected within one year.

Salary Range

Salary: $18.00-$21.00/hourly

Hours: 9:30am-5:30pm
