- Conduct evaluations (including DAYC‑2) to determine First Steps eligibility
- Complete developmental assessments and contribute OT expertise to child and family outcomes
- Provide individual and joint therapy sessions with the Early Intervention Team
- Participate in IFSP meetings and collaborate closely with families and team members
- Develop home programs and create/adapt equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and manage therapy schedules
- Ensure safe, clean, and well‑maintained therapy materials
Essential Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of OT principles and developmental delays
- Ability to assess needs across all developmental domains
- Effective communication and teamwork with families and staff
- Competence in sensory integration and related therapeutic techniques
- Ability to lift 45+ pounds and perform physical tasks required for therapy
- Professionalism, emotional stability, and adherence to safety guidelines
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Missouri
- Completion of First Steps modules
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- CPR certification
- Preferred: Pediatric experience

Salary: $54,000- $58,000
