Direct Support Professional (FLOAT)
Responsibilities
An employee in this position is responsible for direct interactions and assistance in providing the care and support an individual requires to actively participate in educational and learning experiences. Work may include responsibilities for consumer personal care and hygiene, assistance during meals, and assistance with instructional activities as well as providing support to designated Adult staff. General supervision is provided from the Program Coordinators.
Requirements
(The following statement represents the minimum experience and training standards which will be used to admit or reject applicants.)
Possession of a High School diploma (or its equivalent) 1 year working with individuals with DD AND Completion of CPR & First Aid within 60 days of employment, MANDT within 60 days of employment. Class E License, Non smoking, drug free environment.
Individuals who are in the process of completing a GED program may be granted special approval if currently enrolled in a program with completion expected within one year.
Salary Range
Salary: $18.00-$20.00/hourly
